 It all started way back in 1980 when Dan Desiderio was coaching junior national boys gymnastics in Texas and Davies was running the recreation department for the City of Bellaire, Texas. Friends said we should open our own gym back in Pennsylvania where Dan grew up. After teaching at Neuman College and Springton Lake we opened a facility in Aston with 100 children. Three years later we moved to a larger facility and have grown steadily for seventeen years to our present size of over 1000 students. Along the way we have added KidsQuest, RockQuest, Birthday parties, demonstrations, mobile gymnastics, summer camps, and plenty of special events! We want the same things for your children as we want for our own children - to develop happy, healthy, and responsible kids. Everything we do at Double 'D' Gymnastics, from staff selection, curriculum, scheduling, registration, and procedures adhere to this philosophy.
